Reflection 1 (introduction)

The first week it as quite intense because I just returned from holidays and I was completed disconnected from university, so I had to get cracking to catch up.


We learnt a lot of things and we had to register in some web pages in order to acquire knowledge of management of different technological tools that we can use in a near future when we are teachers. One of these tools that I liked the most was symbaloo because I think that it is super useful and we can organize all our web pages and we can go there, just clicking on a windows. I find it very useful for our future students too due to the fact that they will manage a lot of web pages and accounts and they will have everything very well organized on symbaloo.

We read a document about what digital competence is and the dimension of digital competence. I reckon that it was very interesting because I had a vague idea about digital competence and its dimensions, thanks to this document and the exercise we did, I found out about a lot of things that I didn’t give importance to.

We had to give a presentation about digital competence which was really interesting because when you do a presentation you learn a lot about the subject you are working on, and especially when you listen to your classmate's presentations. As a result we got a global knowledge of digital competence, what this subject is about and how we can use it in a future.

Reflection 4 (online stories)

In this week we learnt a lot of thing that I think all of them are very interesting.

The activity we did on Monday was about creating online stories by using a web page which offers different tools such as pictures or texts. Not only can we use this page for us (teachers) we can also use it for our students, because I think that it would be super interesting if our students made up an story by using this motivating page.

If we com

pare it with the traditional mythology, for example inventing a little story with pencil and paper, it would be much more boring than using this page. Besides we are living in a technological age and all kids were born in the google generation, so we have to take advantage of it and use technologies through learning.

We are encourage them to be keen on literacy due to the fact that they are inventing stories and they take part in their own invention and they are not only reading books, so we make them be aware that they can be authors too.

The second activity we did was quite cool, because we learnt how to edit videos. I never edited any videos before so I found it quite difficult but I liked it at the same time.

I think teachers have to have a good grasp of technological tools, because in our profession we will have to use technology more and more intense.

We can edit videos for example, when we want to show a video to our students and we have to cut some part or if we see some difficult part to understand we have put subtitles which would make videos easier to understand. 

 In my opinion is that we are learning a lot of interesting technological tools that we didn’t know that it existed and we realized that we can use them and carry out a lot of activities with them. In this week we learnt a lot of thing that I think all of them are very interesting.

Reflection 3

This week has been quite intense, because we have done a lot of things.


On Monday we learnt about a program that I have never seen before, I think that It was quite curious program because you can create a lot of English exercises, so this is perfect for teachers to make exercises to their students.


You can make any kind of exercises, for example you can take a test and the students will have to fill in the gaps and they will have to guess the missing word or the teacher can create crosswords and different kind of exercises. So the students will be able to improve their English skills.

In the practice class we used skype and we tried to communicate with other students from Madrid but we couldn’t, due to their bad connection. Thus we had to skype among us and talked about how much knowledge we had of making videos.


I said that I had no idea about making videos because I never make videos in my life and I am not keen on videos but sometimes I watch videos on YouTube and I like watching videos clips but I never thought about creating a video in order to upload on YouTube.In the practice class we used skype and we tried to communicate with other students from Madrid but we couldn’t, due to their bad connection. Our Homework was quite interesting because on Wednesday we recorded ourselves talking about a topic in the clil class and we had to correct our mistakes at home. You can realize that you make more mistakes than you think when you are talking and through this activity, you are making yourself aware of your own mistakes, so we can take them into consideration in order not to make more mistakes like those.In the practice class we used skype and we tried to communicate with other students from Madrid but we couldn’t, due to their bad connection. Thus we had to skype among us and talked about how much knowledge we had of making videos.

Reflection 2

During this week we've studied different things and we have been thinking about when we use technologies and how often we use them and what we use them for.

I reckon that this topic has been really interesting because I've never reflected on this matter and I didn’t realize the great importance of technology for teaching.

We have realized that we'll have to manage technologies because children are socialized in a technology environment. As a result we will have to teach them how to use them in a safe way because they will use them in a near future due to the rise of technology. So we have to prepare them for all tools they can find on the internet.

We've seen different word tools and we have learnt how to do a chart on the word program. I think this tool is really important due to the fact that we will have to create chart during our teaching in schools. Besides we will have to teach our students to manage word in order that they can cope with these technological tools and they can use the word in a proper way because word has countless tools to use and if you don't know that they exist, you will never take advantage of word properly.

The last thing I have learnt was how I can create a blogger. In the first year we had to create a blogger and we used it a little bit but we didn't use it anymore. So I'm glad to use it again because I'll remember how to use it due to the fact that our students can also create bloggers and share their knowladge or share what they learnt and it might be really interesting.
